This year, Celebrate BCS Night was a very eventful evening for the students and families. We had many things going on, such as a science display and an awards ceremony for the students. The night focused mainly on the high school students, but the awards were also for the elementary and middle school students as well.
The chemistry students created displays that explained how different things from art were involved in chemistry. For instance, the art of porcelain. Along with the chemistry projects, art was also displayed at the event, showing off the work that students in art class made during the school year.
After enjoying a potluck dinner, everyone went to the sanctuary for the awards ceremony. The ceremony was to recognize students that either showed Christian character, had good grades, or other things throughout the year. After the awards, there was a teacher’s recognition for 4 of the teachers that have worked at BCS this year. After the awards were over, we got to see how the Serve-A-Thon went that took place a few months ago. The BCS student worship team closed the event with a couple of songs.
This night was great for both the students and families. If you weren’t able to come this year, we would love to have you attend next time!
